painting

I was painting pictures for my nieces today and Lillia was alertly sitting in her baby chair (she’s 7.5 weeks old). She was absolutely delighted with me. I don’t know if it was my motions or mood (she couldn’t actually see the painting). She’s been squealing and screeching. I am so glad I can still do some painting with a baby – I realize not every mother can do things like this at this stage. It’s hard to believe that I am “the world” to this individual.
