Bio

I’m a mixed media painter in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia. My work is inspired by the textures, colours, and quiet presence of natural landscapes. Recently, I’ve been exploring watercolour landscapes and building a daily art practice.

The name of my art practice, Delight Filled Leaves Art, is inspired by a line of Wendell Berry’s poetry that has followed me for years: “To sit and look at light filled leaves…” I hope my work offers that same moment of pause and connection to the natural world.

When time allows, I return to mixed media, incorporating my photography and gathered materials—pressed leaves, handmade papers, heirloom fragments, and found objects—each contributing its own history and sense of place.

Outside my creative work, I’m a communications professional, a wife, a mother of three, and active in the trail running community. Creativity, yoga, and time outdoors keep me grounded.

Please reach out with inquiries about originals and prints. I mostly create for the joy of the process, but I have a growing collection of artwork available on request.
