I forgot about this, about the printmaking class I took seven years ago when I was pregnant and finishing up my Emily Carr certificate. I carved this out on a piece of wood, based on a photo my husband and I took of ourselves in Paris in 2006.
For years, I was mesmerized by Edvard Munch’s work. I based my idea for this on The Kiss. I love the way the couple is brought together, so that you can’t distinguish where one starts and the other ends.
