Beautiful backcountry spots from the November Peak Beautiful backcountry spots from the November Peak/Mt. Gillespie/Seed Peak area. There were still a few wildflowers blooming in October!
Mt. Gillespie • I love getting to explore a new ar Mt. Gillespie • I love getting to explore a new area, and we tackled this peak that I'd never even heard of really. It involved driving east of Squamish on some forest service roads. The trail started out fairly basic to reach November Peak, followed by lots of ups and downs on rocky terrain and some scrambling. It was much hotter than my other hikes this fall in that area, so we took our time just looking at all the mountaind and lakes. #hikingadventures #beautifulbc #swbcpeakbaggers Summit block of Mt. This is to the climber's right - it would have been easier for me to go up this way. Going down the easier gully This was a scenic ridge on Gillespie, past the summit. The Enchantments 🍂 Part 3 Inspiration Lake is my The Enchantments 🍂 Part 3 Inspiration Lake is my favourite spot on this hike, but Perfection Lake kept the beauty going as you get to wander through a golden larch grove with turquoise water peeking through.
