It’s been a very full year! Shortly after revamping my website, I returned to work full-time in February. Between work, childcare, housework, and many hikes, I’ve been able to do a handful of paintings, but I almost forgot I had a blog!
In July, I went on a hike with a few friends. The next day, I was inspired to do this watercolour during my baby’s nap time. I decided to take some progress photos and I made this little time lapse video. It was inspired by the foxgloves growing in a clearing on the trail to Chadsey Lake on Sumas Mountain.
