Spring leaves

Have you noticed the leaves this week? It’s like driving through an impressionist painting along the #1 highway. Look quick, this will only last a few says. The leaves are at that exact stage of unfurling that you can see each one distinctly – little sap green and golden balls dabbed against the grey brown frames of the trees. And the blossoms too – white and pink – low in the shadows of the trees, illuminated by the sun.
