I couldn’t have enjoyed our first day of spring more than by taking my kids for a hike on a nearby trail. Once we are in the woods, things are peaceful (most of the time). I love hearing the sound of the rushing creek, seeing dozens of different mosses, and watching the kids race down mountain bike trails (on foot) and finding delight in nature.

Looks lovely! I look forward to when spring arrives here, and we can take a walk like that!

I wish you could just pop over and come with us! It would be great for the cousins to do this together.

What a wonderful age and such a gift to spend it exploring together. My kids are a bit older now I wish I could bring back some of that wonder. What you are sharing with your children now I believe will set them up for a lifetime of questioning and learning.

Thank you! It’s not always easy, even at this age, to pry them away from media to go hiking. But they always love it. It’s a high value for me so I am thankful we’ve been able to go out so often.
