Since then, I\u2019ve been painting in watercolour or sketching every days, and I can feel the habit starting to take root.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"369\" data-end=\"764\">Keeping something on the go at all times gives me a focal point each evening \u2014 even if it\u2019s just 30 minutes. To ward off painter\u2019s block, I\u2019ve been choosing subjects drawn from moments that recently sparked a sense of wonder: something I noticed, or a photo I took. For a while, I was captivated by the thin white line along the horizon of lakes and explored that theme across several paintings.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"993\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Now, two months into the year, I\u2019m still at it \u2014 with 20 paintings completed so far.
