Bio

I’m a painter based in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, Canada. My artwork is inspired by natural landscapes, texture and colour. Each of my mixed media paintings holds intricate components from my collection of heirlooms, pressed leaves, handmade papers and other found objects.

My studio name, Delight-Filled Leaves Art, captures the essence of my delight in nature, sparked by a line of poetry by Wendell Berry: “To sit and look at light filled leaves…” As a mom of three, full-time communications professional and president of Abbotsford Trail Running Club, I am in the thick of a rich and busy life. Being creative and getting outside in nature are life-giving ways to exist. I make art to connect with the natural world around me, and in the process, I hope to inspire others.

Prints and originals of many of my paintings are available: just send me an email.
